I recently added my voice to the Crafts Council's latest campaign to raise the profile of Crafts in th UK. As their site says, "Craft Matters was launched in October 2009 to encourage people to stand up and be counted as supporters of contemporary craft and tell us why it is important to them."
So far over 6000 people have supported them. Even if you choose not to leave a quote it is full of amazing affirmations about the power crafts has in people's lives.
