Eeek! It's March already

OK, yes I know I said I'd do a beady giveaway in January but somehow the months have just crept up on me and the time has flown by.  I have promised myself that I will update this blog more frequently.  Perhaps it's a bit like exercise - you just need to get into a pattern and then it becomes a habit.  That's what I'm telling myself anyway! 

So what have I been doing with myself in the last few months? Well... Apart from the usual kids/school/homework stuff I had a fabby glass day with Julie Fountain from Lush Lampwork along with an ear infection and a cold (both of which really knocked me sideways). 

I didn't spend too much time lampworking in Jan/Feb as it was soooo cold!  As my studio is based in my garage it can get a wee bit chilly when you are sitting in one position for a while.  I usually can only manage about 1.5hrs before my fingers start freezing up and I can't feel my feet anymore.

However, the good news at the moment is that the weather is better, I'm not ill at the moment (touch wood it continues!) and I've got a couple of weeks off work.  Yippeee, bead making here I come.....
